On your marks, get set, Go!!

On Sunday the 5th of June, we had the honor of being a part of the 21st annual Hope in Motion 5K event that took place right here in Stamford Connecticut. As dark clouds rolled in, runners and walkers prepared themselves for a possibly wet Sunday morning. Although it was a gloomy day, the spirits of eager participants set the tone for a bright and happy day.

From the crack of dawn until the last runner left the streets, K.P. Events Group was in the background providing the necessary entertainment.

With any great event, you always need some music to get the party going, especially if your going to run to it. We were honored to have supplied audio, lighting, staging, décor and event management for this wonderful event. No matter how big or how small the event, we at K.P. Events Group strive to provide the best events for our clients.

Knowing that rain and electrical components do not mix well, we had our own race against the elements. Thankfully the weather held up its rainy wrath until the event ended. Stamford Hospital had a great turn out as they worked towards their 1 million dollar goal.

It was a wonderful and heart warming experience to see our community come together to support one another through their struggles. Being able to witness cancer survivors and their family’s walking and running together with the support of onlookers was an experience unlike any other. We must continue to show love and support to those in our community and the world around us because no one fights cancer alone.
