The Sounds Of Sunshine, K.P. Style!

This busy summer continues here at K.P. Events Group!

In addition to a couple of other regularly scheduled audio/visual supported events, this week seems to be “Audio Week” for us. We’ve always taken pride in our lighting and audio designs, as we consider them our specialties, so we’re excited about three events this week that require intricate outdoor audio support.

Creating crisp and powerful audio in the great outdoors is always a project, but for K.P. Events Group it’s just a walk in the park, as they say. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and incorporating our years of experience, we’re able to deliver top-notch audio solutions to our client base on a regular basis. Corporate audio, as opposed to concert audio, is a strange animal due to multiple variables. Between assorted voice patterns, natural speaking tones, wind conditions, and size of targeted audience and venue, this type of audio engineering can be challenging, to say the least. 

Of course as in any audio structuring, the microphone is the primary element. It always goes back to the old adage “garbage in, garbage out.” In outdoor applications, we use the Countryman E-6 Headwear Microphone; this is the same style mic as used by Broadway performers and has proven to be the best product microphone to use when ensuring high quality consistent and exhilarating voice delivery. We use a distributed audio speaker system for small venues and an Array speaker system for larger audience events. Finally, our digital audio consoles provide us the flexibility for gating and creating proper sound delaying systems and gives us the confidence of delivering prime sound architecture every time out.

This week RBS will be holding a financial panel discussion and accompanying golf clinic at Quaker Ridge Country Club. The avid golfers in the group will surely appreciate the high quality audio that we plan on delivering at this affair.

The partnership of F.D. Rich, Erland Construction, US Bank and the Andalex Group will be staging a groundbreaking for a new construction venture on Summer Street in Stamford. K.P. Events Group will be handling all the audio duties for the presentations and assorted speeches.

A new event this year at the beautiful Grand Steps in Mill River Park is “Summertime Swing.” A celebration of dance and live music, this outing will feature dance demonstrations from local dance studios and musicians. Sure to be well attended and festive, the audio needs to be impeccable; K.P. Events Group is up to the task.

As has been the case this summer, K.P. Events Group is instrumental in supporting interesting, entertaining and dynamic events. We seem to have an ear for them!
