KP Events Group

Coming off a very busy summer, K.P. Events Group has lunged headfirst into its autumn events schedule. The weekend of September 25-28 was one of the busiest and most challenging of the last couple of years and we’re happy to report we came through with flying foliage colors and very satisfied clients. In the course of 96 hours, our crews set-up, operated and broke-down seven different events in six different towns.

Sacred Heart University Film Festival

The University’s 4-day inaugural film festival provided the public with a full agenda of screenings, master classes, workshops and parties throughout Stamford. The festival featured student films, as well as established famous filmmaker speakers. K.P. provided screens and video technology support at the Stamford Innovation Center. By all accounts, the reviews were a blockbuster.

Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk Vessel Christening

The Maritime Aquarium christened its new ecologically friendly research vessel, “The Spirit of the Sound,” on Friday, the 26th in a formal ceremonial event. K.P. Events Group was on hand supplying staging, lighting, and audio and drone imagery services. The launch was a huge success, attended by many local luminaries. Batten down the hatches! The weekend was just beginning!

NAACP Annual Banquet

Friday evening also brought the Annual Connecticut Chapter NAACP Banquet to Stamford. The annual event brought together many prominent dignitaries from the African-American citizenry to address and celebrate community issues and successes. K.P. Events Group proudly participated again this year and delivered video technology support, multiple flat screen displays, audio services and staging. On to Saturday!

ABC (A Better Chance) Foundation Fundraiser

On Saturday the 27th, K.P. moved on to support the ABC Foundation Fundraiser at the Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, CT. The Foundation is dedicated to financially assist students who have fought through intense adversities. This particular event featured the network broadcast of the Syracuse vs. Notre Dame college football game for all to enjoy. This was K.P. Events Group’s first association with the Foundation as we supplied staging and video projection solutions for the event. It was a great kickoff for K.P.’s Saturday.

Pathways Inc. Annual Fundraiser and Auction

Pathways Inc., a social services organization based in Greenwich, CT, held its annual fundraiser and auction at the Greenwich Country Club later that Saturday evening. The gala event was widely successful and featured many exciting auction items such as New York Yankee tickets and vacation excursions to a dude ranch in Wyoming and says in St. Croix and Manhattan. K.P. Events Group was front and center for the fourth consecutive year, delivering audio, video and staging services. Is it Sunday yet?

Stamford Hospital Foundation

Sunday would wind down the weekend with a private video screening to benefit the Stamford Hospital Foundation. The screened video production featured NBC’s Brian Williams and the virtual artists’ renderings of the new Stamford Hospital currently being built. K.P. Events Group continued to nurture its long-standing relationship with the Foundation by delivering audio, video and staging.

All in all, it was quite the “eventful” weekend for K.P. Events Group, and that’s without even mentioning the additional crew we had in Chicago supporting the Royal Bank of Scotland with our Trade Show Services.

We expect to be busy like this on a regular basis well into the New Year and will continue to proudly deliver the highest quality, professional and reliable event support in the area.

We couldn’t wait for the workweek to begin.
